17 Oct iPhone 4s Engagement Session and mini review
Holy mini Christmas. We got our new 4S’s, and since upgrading from the 3gs, couldn’t be happier. Finally got a chance to use the camera. Absolutely love it, to think that I will have this quality of camera with me at all times excites me like free ice cream levels of excited. Biggest noticeable difference is the white balance, scenes are inherently much warmer (which can often be a bad thing to people like me who are overly annoyed at the typical canon over warmth), although most people will love it. It will definitely bump up daytime colors however. The high pixel amount is wonderful, and will offer the ability to print in decent sizes. Although I’m noticing a very large amount of noise, even in daytime shots, so be careful about printing too big. I haven’t gotten too much into the video yet, although tested out the image stabilization and love it and expect to see some really amazing demos from the talented cinemaphiles very soon. Obviously it can’t be compared to any SLR, and is one small step below most CURRENT point and shoots, it is undoubtedly the best camera phone out there. Here’s a few from engagement session two days ago, the last one is a great example of the new warmth, almost no post processing.
