I’ve done extensive research, and mike and janna are the awesomeEST people in hemet, ca. It’s legit, there were lab coats and schematics involved. They got married. They washed each other’s feet. I almost cried like a 5 year old before naptime, believe it. We’ve covered quite a whole lot of weddings, and I can confidently say I’ve never seen a groom smile, and glow, as much as Jon did the day he married his best friend. These two are in love. End of story…well actually just the beginning. Heather and I both love what we do, and it’s days like this where the feeling is compounded. That deep welling emotion of taking part, and documenting, such a wonderful coming together of two people to form a new family. I can honestly say, the importance, and impact, has yet to escape me at any wedding I’ve shot. The reception was off the hook (say the hook is in, hmm, lake tahoe…well this would be in Shanghai)…that good. Everyone got down….Charlie Brown. Thank you to both of you. Heather and I smiled the whole drive home.
We got to shoot a rad couple recently out in Garden Grove, CA. Kelly, also known as DJ Unit, is part of SMOG LA, who have been at the very core of Dubstep Culture in L.A. since the very beginning. It was an amazing day and Heather got some incredible images that I’m so very jealous of. Were so incredibly happy for you two and feel honored to witness and document your day.
