What do you do when your favorite teams don’t make it to the superbowl!? You can choose to get married to the love of your life, with 6 of your closest friends and have an intimate beach ceremony. Christian and Ashley got married on the beach in Newport Beach, and it was absolutely perfect. It was sweet, and also filled with moments of uncontrollable laughter. Thank you to both of you for letting Heather and I be a part, and also for not having to spend the day watching a football game and all the while wishing it was a hockey game. Enjoy….

Shooting new families is absolute perfection. I adore watching a family’s beginning; from the wedding to a new addition. It gives me satisfaction to no end. Being a part of such an incredible and growing time in two (now three) lives, and watching it all unfold….it’s hard to really put into words. I am just thankful I get to do what I do. Check out Melissa and Kaleb’s recent family addition…..

Heather never ceases to amaze me. She is one unique and amazing individual, and talented with everything she touches. On New Years Eve I had the amazing opportunity to spin for a surprise birthday party on a 100+ foot yacht in the Newport Bay, and Heather came along to tag team the event and capture some great stuff on camera. It was quite a surprise for the birthday boy, and it was pretty amazing to see how much love was surrounding him from the large group that was there of family and friends. Heather did an absolute incredible job documenting the heart of what was being felt by all. (The last picture is me doing some wicka wicka)

Amazing wedding. Long Beach, CA. Absolutely wonderful. Kim is one of those rare people filled with huge equal doses of passion, sincerity, and humor. Interestingly enough, Josh is the exact same way; a man’s man but not afraid to express how much he cares, or laugh for days at a silly joke. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect match for one another, and it was such a joy to be able to be a part of their lives, if even for a brief moment. It was supposed to rain all weekend, and somehow it cleared up and the sun came out for a bit for their beach ceremony. Heather and I can’t express how thankful we are for letting us have the honor of documenting your most important day in your new family’s history. We wish you both the best.
