Most people are not celebrities, and so the feeling of having someone following you around for half a day shooting you in the face is quite a hectic experience for everyone. This is the exact reason why I strive to connect on a deeper level with every couple I shoot, not only because it is such an honor and joy to get to know two people at such an important and beautiful time in their lives, but because only when there is total trust and comfort can true character be revealed. I only attempt to produce an environment where I can catch a glimpse of that beautiful truth and love that exists in every love-built relationship. Josh and Suzanne, thank you so much for being such beautiful people throughout, and letting me have a glimpse of what I know now to be limitless love connection. It was an honor and I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to see what the actual wedding day holds in store. Enjoy.

Having had the chance to get to know Tim prior to this Engagement session, it made this even that more special. Tim is one of those unique individuals who, when he speaks, its clearly obvious it comes straight from the heart and full of sincerity. I had heard quite a deal about this amazing girl of whom he loved so dearly, and got to partake in the excitement leading up to the proposal. So finally getting to shoot them to frame all that love and excitement was intensely rewarding. I loved looking through all the images from this celebration of love, disguised as a photo shoot, because I feel one can grasp so well who these two are and the loads and loads (and loads) of love they have for each other. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed shooting them….

So fun! We started this amazing day at the beautiful St. Raymond Catholic Church in Downey, CA, and ending on an amazing cruise around the Newport Harbor. This boat was was absolutely stunning, three stories and an amazing staff to top it off. I’ll leave the images to tell the rest of the story…..

It’s been a while since my last post, I have been overwhelmed with weddings and editing and also beginning to re-work my marketing approach, you can see the beginning of my new logo below.
Earlier this month we made the trek out to Temecula to shoot a wedding for an incredibly cool couple at the Wiens Family Cellars winery. Joann told us the story of how they met and it was so incredibly moving, and I felt even more honored to be able to be there to take part and document the day. Here’s a shot from the dinner in the infamous Barrel Room. Mucho Vino!
