I recently got an email, from a couple I had previously shot, to shoot their new addition to their family. So I packed up and headed out to their home. Let me tell you what an experience it was: humbling, beautiful, reinforcing. They had images from their wedding I had taken in their home, along with lots of baby toys and it impacted me deeply. I was able to witness and document the beginning of this family, and now I get to shoot the development. I was so deeply inspired by the transformation from couple to family…I just absolutely love what I do, and what I am able to witness on a day to day basis. There is a lot of love in that house……

Is this not an adorable kid, overflowing with personality!!?!

I’m just eating my toe, whats your deal?

We trekked it out to Temecula to the beautiful South Coast Winery for the big day. We had so much fun, so hard not to….these two are a riot, just wonderfully infectious personalities. The ceremony was particularly great, the officiant kept everyone in stitches while at the same time reinforcing the passion and beauty of marriage. We really grew fond of these two, and were honestly sad when it ended. On the drive home I remember talking about how top-notch it was, and how you could see their personalities throughout the event: not sweating the small stuff, the love shared between friends and family, and most importantly between them. It was a true honor and blessing to be able to take part and document their day, thank you so much you two, and I wish you all the best!

Doesn’t this look like it came right of a Nordstrom ad? Totally dig it.

Toni and Scott are definitely a unique couple, I could tell within five minutes the first time meeting them; I just knew these two were my type of couple. Kind, personable, and absa-freakin-lutely in love!! They have a really great dynamic, which made for an absolutely wonderful day. I felt overly lucky and so blessed to take part, especially considering it was at the wonderful McCharles House in old town Tustin, CA. This wonderfully old house is a unique gem, and the amazing plants and flowers surrounding the grounds add to its unique ambiance. It was a perfect fit for these two. It was wonderful being able to ride along for a short time in their lives, and I have no doubt they are going to have a life nothing short of incredible. Toni and Scott, I wish you two the best, and thank you for opening yourselves up.

This first one I particularly love, its a perfect snapshot of a wedding. Father walking her to the groom, the guests on the right and their reaction, someone in the background wanting to get a good shot, the wonderful groundskeeper looking on in adoration, and another person hussling in the background. I LOVE IT!

This one I have to give credit to my wonderful new assistant, she’s nothing short of amazing!

This was my very first all tradition Cambodian wedding, and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Cassidy has 7 dress changes!!!! Every one was amazing, so much detail! Don had almost as many as well! It was so nice to be able to witness a day full of such incredible cultural tradition. I would love to have a wedding with so many fun ceremonies and games…there was even a parade led by a cambodian band at one point! Don and Cassidy thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wonderful day, it was such a joy getting to know you and your families. It was an honor. Here’s a few of my favorite highlights….
